FAQS

  • We offer a seasonal tasting menu that changes frequently and is guided by what’s most beautiful, fresh, and inspiring each day. Because of this dynamic approach, we do not publish a set menu in advance. Instead, we invite you to join us with an open mind and a sense of curiosity.

  • Yes. We are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and others with advance notice. All guests dining with us will be served the same multi-course menu, tailored as needed to meet your specific needs.

  • Yes. All dining takes place in our 15,000-square-foot garden. Tables are tucked into various corners of the property, from lively areas near the bar to more secluded spaces like the Bamboo Grove or our private tea house. Each reservation offers a unique experience shaped by the setting.

  • We monitor weather conditions closely and will reach out in the rare case that we need to adjust plans due to inclement weather. Most tables are shaded and we do provide heaters and blankets in cooler months, but we recommend dressing in layers.

  • We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or adjust your reservation, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less notice, or no-shows, will forfeit their reservation deposit. Please email hello@therochersrh.com if you need to cancel or modify your reservation. We appreciate your understanding—it allows us to prepare thoughtfully and offer each guest our fullest attention.

  • Our tasting menu is designed to be enjoyed at a relaxed but efficient pace. Most dinners last approximately an hour and a half.

  • We most certainly welcome children who are comfortable in a fine dining environment. All guests are served the same multi-course tasting menu. We do not offer a separate children’s menu.

  • Yes. We offer a curated list of wines and cocktails, as well as optional pairings—both traditional and non-alcoholic—to complement the tasting menu.

  • Guests are welcome to bring their own wine. Our corkage fee is $30 per 750mL bottle or $45 per magnum, and we kindly ask that guests limit outside bottles to one per two guests.

  • Yes. When booking your reservation, you’ll select from one of several seating experiences—each located in a different area of the garden. From more central spaces near the walkways to tucked-away corners among the bamboo or citrus, your choice of experience determines where you’ll dine.

  • All of our dining takes place outdoors in our 15,000-square-foot garden, which is thoughtfully divided into a few distinct areas. Each section offers a unique atmosphere, and the options you see on Tock reflect where in the garden your table will be located:

    • Terrace: Our two-level terrace overlooks the lawn and culinary herb beds. It’s located just beyond our bar lounge and grand piano area. Tables here enjoy lovely garden views and are grouped a bit more closely together—similar to a traditional dining room.

    • Patio: Adjacent to the terrace and connected to our bar lounge, this covered area is nearest to the pond and stream that run through the property. Like the terrace, it offers a bit more structure and protection from the elements.

    • Garden: Tables listed under the “Garden” section are set throughout the landscape itself—these include the tables beside the water as well as those in our more secluded areas, like the Bamboo Grove, the Tea House, or the table overlooking the roses.

While the terrace and patio offer a slightly more traditional setup, the garden section allows for a more immersive experience within the landscape. Each area has its own charm, and we’re happy to help guide you to the one that best suits your preferences.

  • Our bar and lounge area is designed as a welcoming space for guests enjoying the tasting menu. You’re welcome to arrive early for a cocktail before your reservation or to linger with a drink afterward. At this time, we do not offer bar seating as a separate dining experience—the space is intended as an extension of the evening for our guests.

  • Service animals are always welcome. While we love all furry companions, we kindly ask that only service animals performing a task be brought into the space, out of respect for the grounds and the experience of other guests.

  • Yes. Most areas of the garden are accessible, though the terrain includes some uneven natural pathways. If you have any mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can ensure the most comfortable setup.

  • We’re a cashless establishment and gladly accept all major cards and digital payments.
